Bookings, Deposit and Payments:
A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of $1000 deposit and these terms and conditions form signed and returned to Yamba Shores Tavern C/O YST : PO BOX 207, Yamba New South Wales 2464, Scanned and emailed or hard copy posted.
It is a requirement that credit card details must be provided to secure a booking. These details will be kept on record in case of any additional fees incurred. Any deductions from said credit card will be discussed prior with the client.
The total of the account is to be paid in full, no less than fourteen (14) days prior to the function.
Minimum of 50 adult guests applies if hiring The Boardroom and Bar. Minimum of 70 adult guests for The Clarence Deck. Some exclusions apply. If your guest numbers drop under the above figures 14 days prior, you will be charged the minimum number.
Final numbers will be required no less than 14 days prior to the function. Any guests that cancel after this time are non-refundable. Payments can be made by cash, direct deposit, cheque or credit card (includes 5% processing fee Amex)
All direct debit payments must be made prior to function date, using your individual reference number on your invoice
Menus, Food & Beverages:
All menus must be confirmed and final numbers of guests confirmed with the Functions Manager no later than fourteen (14) days prior to your wedding. This includes Childrenâ€™s meals, Vegetarians, Coeliacs and other special dietary requirements.
All weddings functions incur a $1500 minimum bar spend. Please acknowledge that there is a minimum spend of $110 per person for food and beverageÂ including GST. 2 years to 12 years old will cost 50% of the adult menu price. Some exclusions apply.
Yamba Shores Tavern has the right to change menus and the client will be notified of any changes that affect their menu choice. This is due to seasonal availability of produce.
Should you decide to serve your wedding cake as dessert, a $3.50 per person cakeage fee will apply.
No food is to be taken from the premises at the close of the function, wedding cake the exception. Yamba Shores Tavern is bound by law to not provide takeaway function food. No outside catering is allowed at Yamba Shores Tavern. This includes nibbles and snack food.
Due to the popularity of the venue, wedding cancellations are non-refundable.
Any deductions from the clientâ€™s credit card regarding cancellations will be discussed with the client prior to transaction.
Underage guests /Responsible Adults:
Children are very welcome at our venue and are well catered for. All minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times and must not be in any other area of the hotel.
Yamba Shores Tavern practices all aspects of Responsible Service of Alcohol. All guests who attend the function whom are under the age of 25 will be required to have their ID checked by a staff member and will then be given an arm band to identify they have had their ID checked. No ID; No Alcohol, No exceptions.
AV Equipment is available at your request. IPod and VGA (Laptop) connection is available free of charge.
Music/Entertainment is the clientâ€™s responsibility to organise for the event. We can recommend and give contact details for local Bands and DJâ€™s. A hard dancefloor is included in the venue hire cost. Damage or loss of AV equipment will incur replacement fees. Live entertainment is to cease at 12 midnight.
When decorating the venue, no hooks, screws or tape or use of a ladder are to be used on the premises. We do not allow confetti, glitter or small tinsel pieces to be used. Candles are to be in glass holders and not be able to drip wax. No responsibility is taken for private property. Any damage to the hotel or hotel property will incur repair costs.
